The Schulich School of Education respects the importance of providing pre-service teacher candidates with opportunities to experience the use of educational technology within the context of the "live" classroom. Teacher candidates are encouraged to effectively plan and implement activities during their practice teaching endeavours.
Each year, in an effort to recognize exemplary use of educational technology in the classroom to support teaching, learning and student success, the Educational Technology Integration Awards are presented to selected outstanding teacher candidates in both the Consecutive Education and Year 5 Concurrent Education cohort groups.
The award recognition includes a certificate signed by the Dean of Education, a letter of recognition signed by the Professional Learning Coordinator plus having the award recipient name engraved on the award plaque that is displayed.
