Brief Individual Counselling

Short term, change-oriented individual therapy appointments, provide intervention for a variety of mental and emotional concerns.

Brief therapy services vary between 1-6 sessions, these appointments are 50 minutes long and usually scheduled bi-weekly.

Student Counselling Services assists students with mild-moderate mental and emotional support needs. Students with ongoing or complex support needs can expect to work with community providers to address their concerns.

Student Counselling Services will work alongside students to navigate the service system and connect you with appropriate service providers.

To request an intake appointment please visit us in the Student Development and Services Office (Room: B210), or complete the online registration form located here.

Once you complete the Registration Form please download or save a copy and then email it to counselling@nipissingu.ca. Once received within regular business hours (Monday - Friday 8:30 am - 4:30 pm) you will be contacted within 24 hours of receipt of the form to schedule an appointment.
