Research Achievement Award winners announced

Research and the creation of new knowledge is a defining feature of great universities all over the world.  Nipissing University faculty are performing trailblazing research in many disciplines to the benefit of all Canadians.

The university is very pleased to announce the five recipients of the 2018-19 research Achievement Awards:

  • Dr. Glenda Black, associate professor, Schulich School of Education
  • Dr. Justin Carré, associate professor, Psychology
  • Dr. Amir Erfani, professor, Sociology and Anthropology
  • Dr. Mukund Jha, professor, Biology and Chemistry
  • Dr. Manuel Litalien, associate professor, Social Welfare and Social Development

The awards, valued at $5,000, are intended to recognize meritorious research achievement and to enhance the research productivity and external reputation of full-time faculty members at Nipissing University. The $5,000 investment will be utilized as a research grant, available to the recipient for a period of up to five years.Click here for a list of previous recipients.
