Nipissing University’s second annual Research Month kicked off today during a launch event held at North Bay City Hall. Throughout the month of March, Nipissing will be hosting a series of events for the North Bay community, designed to highlight the important research taking place at the University.

Skaai Davison is heading for Oxford University in England this fall to do an MSc in Embryology. She prepared herself to make this leap across the ocean by excelling in all the Biology, Chemistry and other courses she took at Nipissing University during her four years here. She made good use of specialized upper-year courses to distinguish herself from other students who are competing to get into Graduate School at Oxford University.

Nipissing University researchers, working in collaboration with students, faculty members, lab technicians, and medical doctors from Simon Fraser University, the Northern Ontario School of Medicine, and the University of Massachusetts-Boston have seen their work published in Psychological Science, one of the most prestigious journals in the field of psychology.
