Program Specific Admission Requirements

Bachelor of Science in Nursing

Minimum Average for Admission Consideration:

70%1

Admission Requirements: ENG4U; SBI4U; SCH4U plus 3 additional 4U and/or 4M courses. One Mathematics is recommended.

1The BScN program is a highly competitive, limited enrollment program. The average required for admission may be higher than the stated minimum. The cut-off has ranged from 82% - 88% over the last five years.

Required Documents

  • Official transcripts showing all courses completed and/or in progress.
  • If in progress courses cannot be listed on an official transcript have your guidance counsellor send an email to admissions@nipissingu.ca listing all current in progress courses. Midterm grades should also be included in the email if available.
  • Transcripts should be sent directly to Nipissing University by your high school.
