Program Specific Admission Requirements

Bachelor of Social Work

Minimum Average for Admission Consideration:

70%


Admission Requirements: ENG4U (with a minimum grade of 70%) plus 5 additional 4U and/or 4M courses.

During Year 2 of the Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) program, students must apply for admission consideration to the professional years (Years 3 and 4) of the program. Admission to the first or second year of the BSW program does not guarantee acceptance into the professional years.

Alberta

General Admission Requirements

Secondary School Diploma with five academic Grade 12 courses numbered 30 or 31 including program specific prerequisites.

British Columbia

General Admission Requirements

Secondary School Diploma with four academic level Grade 12 courses (course with % grades not letter grades) including program specific prerequisites. Provincial exams are not required.
