Congratulations to Dr. Nancy Maynes, associate professor in the Schulich School of Education for having her book Kindergarten in Canada: A Play-Based Approach for Educators, listed on the Ontario College of Teachers site as one of its top 10 books and e-books for teachers.

Nipissing University’s department of Psychology launches the 2015/16 Psychology Speaker Series welcoming Dr. Katja Bertsch, department of General Psychiatry at the University of Heidelberg, to campus for a talk, titled Aggression in Borderline Personality Disorder: Neurobiological Correlates and Clinical Implications

This week, students, staff and faculty are invited to participate in a series of experiential and cultural learning opportunities. Activities include Elder teachings and guest speaker presentations by Maurice Switzer, Dale Turner, Dawn Lamothe and Paige Restoule as well as drum making, beading and traditional singing workshops.
