Established by the Ledger family to commemorate Kristine Ledger’s impact as a Nipissing Laker. The Kristine Ledger Award is presented to a female varsity athlete playing on the Nipissing Women’s Volleyball team. The recipient must demonstrate characteristics that Kristine displayed during her time with the Lakers such as hard work, dedication, competitiveness and resiliency.
