Biomass and Bioenergy discussion at NU

Nipissing University will host a presentation on Advances in BioPower as a Renewable Energy Source in Slovakia and Finland on Tuesday, March 19, from 4 – 6 p.m. in room H105.The presentation features guest lecturers Dr. Pavol Otepka, from the Slovak University of Agriculture in Nitra, Slovakia, who will discuss Biomass in Agriculture and Forestry Production, and Aspects of Agritourism in Slovakia; and Mr. Esa Etelatalo, of Karelia University of Applied Sciences in Joensuu, Finland, who will discuss Energy Wood Procurement and Bioenergy Solutions in Finland.
The event is free of charge and all are welcome. It is presented by EU-Can BioPower and funded through Human Resources and Skills Development Canada.
