Nipissing’s Taylor heads to La Belle Province with Team O

Nipissing University Lakers men’s volleyball recruit Warren Taylor is off to the National Team Training Centre in Gatineau, Quebec with his Team Ontario teammates to compete against Canada’s best and brightest future volleyball stars.The 6 foot 6 inch middle player from Ottawa was selected to Team Ontario after a grueling week of try-outs at the Ontario Volleyball Association’s High Performance Centre hosted by Nipissing. Team O returned for another week of intense training and is now focused on winning the gold medal at the National Training Challenge Cup.
"I am very excited to play with such talented players and for the coaching staff,” said Taylor. “I am looking forward to competing at the NTTCs this week."
“I am extremely excited for Warren to gain valuable experience this week playing with and against the top volleyball players in his age category across the country,” said coach Eric Yung. “He has worked extremely hard this past year and earned the privilege to represent his province at the highest stage."
