Support for parents who have children with a learning disability

The Learning Disabilities Association -North Bay and Area in partnership with the Near North District School Board presents an informative workshop on Thursday, October 17 from 6:30 – 8 p.m. at the Near North District School Board Office on Airport Road.Elaine Beckett-Albert will give a presentation titled How Can Adaptive Technology Support My Child.  Near North School Board staff  will share different technological supports available to the students of the Near North School Board,such as the IPad and Kurzweil.
The resource facilitator from the LDAO-NB will share information about learning disabilities and the services the agency provides.
