Dr. Mary Ferguson-Paré is one of Canada’s most widely respected nurse leaders with 43 years of dedicated service to the nursing profession. Prior to retirement, Dr. Ferguson-Paré worked as Vice-President, Professional Affairs and Chief Nurse Executive at the University Health Network (UHN) in Toronto.

Nipissing University students are doing double duty to make our world a better place, helping to conserve monarch butterflies, while simultaneously transforming a former dump site.

Dr. John Long’s book, Treaty No. 9: Making the Agreement to Share the Land in Far Northern Ontario in 1905 (McGill Queen’s University Press), was recently invoked by Bob Rae in a special debate article in the Globe and Mail, titled The Supreme Court’s B.C. land-title decision.
