Nipissing gears up for robotics competition

For the second year in a row, Nipissing University welcomes more than 900 high school students with a passion for designing, building and programming robots to compete at the annual FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) Robotics Canada North Bay Regional Competition taking place March 26 – 28 in the Robert J. Lakers impress at OUA Nordic championships
AthleticsWith the weather cold enough to freeze a cowbell, the 2015 OUA Nordic Skiing Championships kicked off on Friday night in North Bay. While the weather could have been warmer, the action was certainly hot, and the Lakers perfectly mixed being gracious hosts with being tough competitors.
