Sweet videos from Frosh Week

You may have noticed a fair buzz of energy on campus and in the community last week, as students arrived on campus for a new academic year.  The Nipissing University Student Union hosted a fun and action-packed Frosh Week that spawned many amazing moments and memories. 
NU News is pleased to share two videos that show just how impressive our students really are.

The first video documents a beautiful, unscripted moment, where NU Frosh sing Elvis Presley’s Can’t Help Falling in Love to a lovely couple at the waterfront celebrating their 59th anniversary.  It happened during NUSU’s Beach Day, on Friday, September 1.  A few days later, the couple, Doris and Ron Sanderson, surprised the students in the Athletics Centre as they were wrapping up Frosh Week with closing ceremonies.  Of, course the students obliged with another rendition of the Elvis classic. You can read all about it in this Baytoday article.
