Leroy and Goodchild earn Lakers Athletes of the Week

Congratulations to Lakers Greco’s Athletes of the Week: Cross Country runner Jennifer Leroy and Lacrosse midfielder Tyler Goodchild.

Leroy was the top finishing Laker on the women’s side at the 2018 Bill Salter Western International, held this past weekend in London. She finished the race with a time of 24:15, placing her about in the middle of a very competitive field.

Goodchild had a solid weekend, helping the Lakers earn a split at home. In the win over Bishop’s, Goodchild had a hat-trick and added an assist. On Sunday, he added two assists vs. Trent. In total, Goodchild has five goals and six assists in five games this season.
