Map contest winner announced
?? The owls have been found and Nipissing’s scavenger hunt contest to launch its interactive map has come to a successful close.
The contest, in which participants were asked to locate 30 owls images hidden within the interactive map, saw 118 people submit entries and 76 individuals successfully locate every one of the 30 owls.
The grand prize goes to Laurel Bissonnette, Faculty and Administrative Support Services Technician, who was the first person to successfully locate all the owls. She had a choice of four different prizes valued at $250 each, and chose a parking pass.
Each of the 76 other successful entrants won a Nipissing t-shirt.
"The Marketing and Communications department thanks everyone who took the time to explore Nipissing’s new interactive map and submit their entry, said Kelly Brown, Manager of Marketing and Communications. “It was a great opportunity for people to explore and engage with the new map and we hope everyone will be quick to share the link with visitors to the University.”
