Social work students recognized as emerging leaders

Fourth year Bachelor of Social Work students, Shawna Epple and Cornelia (Nela) Pocztanski have each received an Emerging Leaders Award from the Ontario Association of Social Workers (OASW).  The award offers recipients the opportunity to engage in new ways of learning, engage in leaderful practice and connect with peers from across the province.

Award winners will receive a bursary to attend the OASW Annual Conference later this month, opportunities to contribute to the future direction of the OASW, and training in Appreciative Inquiry and Strategic Mapping.
