The School of Nursing welcomes visiting scholar Dr. Victoria Smye to campus for a special lecture, titledHealth Equity and Cultural Safety in an Indigenous Context, on January 26, from 9 – 11:30 a.m. in room F210.

Concern for the environment is widespread, but what is stopping people from rolling their sleeves up and getting down to work with some meaningful pro-environmental action? According to a new study published in the Journal of Environmental Psychology, learned helplessness could be acting as a significant barrier to affecting positive environmental change.

There’s a new installation adorning Nipissing’s boardroom and overlooking the main entrance: a beautiful stained glass rendering of the university’s coat of arms, a gift from the recently retired Jamie Graham.

Nipissing’s History department presents the fourth annual Clendinning Memorial Lecture, featuring guest speaker Dr. Roisin Cossar of the University of Manitoba on Wednesday, January 24, at 7p.m. in room B200.
