NUSense Journal - Call for Entries

NuSense: Celebrating Innovation and Creativity at NipissingThe new English Studies online journal-magazine NuSense (www.nusense.org) is here!

NuSense is a peer-reviewed online journal-magazine that publishes four issues per year. Highlighting diversity and advocating intellectually-engaging debates across disciplines, the journal’s issues are organized into the following sections: Upcoming Events, Academic Life, Global Issues, Creative Submissions, Academic Contributions, and Reviews.

Developed by a group of Nipissing students under the guidance of Dr. Pavlina Radia, NuSense fosters innovative approaches to professional, creative, and academic writing. The first issue titled “Freedom” features articles by Alayna Becker, Alisson Tremblay, Kayla Harris, Erin Woods, Tasha Barbour, Tiina Vilu, Amanda Moss, Christine Clarke, Robin Gibson, and Katrina Schurter. The journal’s visual artwork has been provided by Brittany Lamers and Sara Grainger. Our special thanks go to Christine Clarke, the journal’s webmaster and executive co-editor, whose creative spirit and dedication have been essential to this ambitious and intellectually-engaging endeavour.

Although the journal is primarily run by our undergraduate students, its premise is to encourage a dialogue between students and faculty. The journal advocates the importance of an integrated approach to academic disciplines. It therefore welcomes creative and academic contributions from both students and faculty.
