Nipissing Amnesty International hosting letter writing campaign
Interested in urging the protection of human rights around the globe? Join the Nipissing University Amnesty International Action Circle’s first letter-writing session of the academic year, today, Wednesday September 26, from 11:30 a.m. - 1 p.m. in A244.
Letters for Wednesday’s gathering will focus on supporting two prisoners of conscience: human rights lawyer Wang Quanzhang in China and social activist Edwin Espinal in Honduras.
This is a come and go event—come for as little or long as you like.
Refreshments will be provided and good conversation will abound.
