Nipissing University has closely monitored the COVID-19 situation and in efforts to reduce the spread, many departments will be moving to off-site operations. Based on the University’s operational requirements and the employee’s specific role and responsibilities, temporary work from home arrangements may not suitable for all positions and situations. Supervisors will be directing staff, where possible, to work from home and will work together to determine how our roles will transition. Employees, please check your email for the Work From Home policy and continue to monitor as more information will follow.
As you prepare to work from home, there are some health and safety considerations that employees should make. Visit our Health and Safety Tips for Working from Home and COVID-19 and Your Mental Health pages to evaluate your new workspace.
This page will be updated with information and resources as we receive them. Thank you for your patience during this time of transition. We know that what makes Nipissing University special is our personal connection and we are determined to maintain our high level of service.
