Drop-In Centres
The Academic Skills Drop-In Centres are accessible to all Nipissing University students and provide a peer support network and resource. Peer Educators who operate the centres bring a wealth of experience from a variety of departments. They are trained in helping students on a one-on-one basis with general academic skills such as study strategies, note-taking skills, time management strategies, and more. They are able to provide students with academic resources and referrals to other services. -

Nipissing University's Office of Student Learning and Transitions supports students in their transition to university, and in developing their academic skills (Academic Writing, Academic Reading, Study Skills, Time Management, Organization, Math skills, Science Skills, and more!)
