Social Work at Nipissing
Students complete 375 hours in practicum in their third year and 525 hours in practicum in their fourth year. In collaboration with the Field Education Office staff, students will explore opportunities for placement in both traditional and non-traditional settings.

Welcome to the webpage for the Faculty of Education and Professional Studies. The Faculty is home to six different schools – the Schulich School of Education, School of Nursing, School of Social Work, School of Physical Education (and Kinesiology), School of Criminology and Criminal Justice, and the School of Business – and, on this page, you will find links to each School’s homepage.
For prospective students thinking about studying at Nipissing University, I encourage you to explore the information provided by each school about the programs they offer and the experience of our students.
