Assistive Technology discussion at One Kids Place

The Learning Disabilities Association North Bay is pleased to announce that Dr. Todd Cunningham will be presenting Read with Your Ears, Write with Your Mouth at One Kids Place on Thursday, October 25 at 6:30 p.m.Cunningham  is a motivational speaker and researcher from the Ontario Institute of Studies in Education, University of Toronto and the Hospital for Sick Children. He will discuss strategies for students with learning disabilities and the potential of assistive technology. He has struggled with a learning disability and has learned to accommodate his dyslexia with the use of assistive technology. This engaging presentation will provide a personal perspective on how assistive technology and learning strategies can help individuals with learning disabilities succeed.
