Bathtub Project helps people in need
The Nipissing University Women’s Centre is making a difference for people in need in North Bay and surrounding shelters by collecting bath items for their annual Bath Tub Project until March 30.Donations are being accepted between 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. at the Nipissing University’s Women’s Centre.
The goal is to fill a pool with toiletry products (shampoo, conditioner, sanitary napkins, moisturizers, soap, toothbrushes, dental products, brushes, combs, hair accessories and shaving gel, etc.) that will be donated to shelters and outreach organizations around North Bay. All donations must be unused and unopened. The donation eases the shelters operational costs while providing some comfort to their patrons. The Women’s Centre is also collecting monetary funds.
