Gym floor complete

The new floor is now completed in the shared Education Centre gym; however, the finishing layers need to cure, so the floor cannot be used for the remainder of this week.  It will be ready for action starting Tuesday, October 9.Dave Cotie, director of facilities operations at Canadore College, offered thanks to the Canadore athletics staff for their patience and assistance in keeping this project moving forward and especially over the last couple of weeks, working out all the lines and monitoring daily progress.
Cotie also offered thanks to Nipissing for accommodating ALL the scheduled activity for both the college and university at the Robert J. Sutees Student Athletics Centre, and to those that had their scheduled activities and classes moved during these last several weeks.
Additional upgrades will be coming over the next few months and years to ensure that this facility stays up-to-date. Take a walk down and look at the floor (it can be walked on at this point), as well as updates to the change rooms and general appearance.
