Headstart Orientation at Brantford campus
Nipissing University’s Brantford campus, in partnership with Laurier Brantford, offered first-year students their first glimpse into university life during Headstart Orientation sessions.
Held on June 14, July 9 and July 10, the session welcomed first-year students and their families to Nipissing University's 50 Wellington Street building to take part in program specific information sessions.
Approximately 300 visitors learned about Nipissing’s concurrent education program and student life at the Brantford campuses of Nipissing and Laurier. Students and their families also had the opportunity to tour campus facilities and participate in specific information sessions offered by various campus services and organizations. Students attended various information sessions including: Student Affairs, Getting Involved, Residence Information, Learning Services, Accessible Learning and Financial Aid.
All Headstart participants were able to experience the strong sense of community that they will enjoy when they are on campus to begin their studies in September.
