Lakers Hockey Oldtimers get better with age

A team of Nipissing University faculty and staff representatives recently embarked on a goodwill mission to the University of Guelph to compete in the 35th Annual University Faculty and Staff Oldtimers Hockey Tournament.The event is designed to promote fun and fellowship with academic partners, although the competition on the ice is fairly high. This is the third year that Nipissing has participated in the tournament, and the team continues to improve, posting its first ever win and finishing with a 2-1-2 record, good enough for third place. The team’s only loss came at the hands of the tournament champions, University of Guelph.
