Renee Valiquette stars in the fifth TEDxNipissingU Talk
Following the success of the recent TEDxNipissingU Talks, held at Nipissing’s Muskoka campus on March 8, NU News is proud to announce that for the next few weeks, we will present some of the speakers who presented.Today’s NU News featured TEDxNipissingU Talk is:Renee Valiquette - The Role of the University in the 21st Century
Renee Valiquette is a PhD candidate in Social and Political Thought at York University and has been a university lecturer for seven years, teaching primarily at Nipissing University's North Bay and Bracebridge campuses for the Gender Equality and Social Justice and Arts and Culture programs. She is the 2011 recipient of Nipissing University's Part-time Teaching Award.
The inaugural TEDxNipissingU event featured 12 live speakers, including Nipissing University faculty members Dr. Peter Nosko, Ken Stange and Renee Valiquette, as well as staffer Alexandra Archibald. Each speaker presented a short talk on their interpretation of the theme “What’s Possible”.
