Salzman speaking about inspiration TONIGHT
Nipissing University student Kevin Salzman, who is planning to wheel across Canada to raise awareness for Cerebral Palsy, will be speaking at the Wall on February 1 at 7 p.m.One of the most popular personalities to ever study at Nipissing, Salzman will be speaking about the people who have impacted and inspired him. A short introduction video featuring people sharing favourite memories of Salzman will be shown.
“This speech is a bit of a departure from what I usually talk about,” said Salzman. “It is more interactive and open for one thing. I really want to show how people have inspired me so that it will encourage others to become difference makers. North Bay and Nipissing have been so supportive to me and my goals and I hope people realize how that support can positively affect one’s education.”
Salzman was diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy at a young age and has been in a wheelchair for most of his life. Perseverance is Salzman’s middle name; nothing gets him down. He’s given many inspirational speeches in North Bay and Bracebridge, and travelled to the University of California Los Angeles for a speech last year.
