Writing Alzheimer’s disease talk at Nipissing
Nipissing welcomes Dr. Ian Lancashire to campus on Monday, March 12, at 12:30 p.m. in room R308 for a special talk about his research into using digital text analysis techniques to diagnose cognitive impairment.The lecture, Writing Alzheimer’s Disease: Agatha Christie, Ross MacDonald, and Iris Murdoch, will be delivered to the Introduction to Digital Humanities class.
Lancashire is a professor of English at the University of Toronto and Fellow of the Royal Society of Canada.
Lancashire’s work on Agatha Christie’s writing has been reported in such periodicals as Maclean’s magazine, The New York Times, and The Guardian.
