Overview:
Dr. Steven Muhlberger’s most recent books have been influenced by the fact that he has been taking part in medieval re-creation as a hobby for over 40 years. How has this affected his understanding of history? How, indeed, should professionally - trained historians engage with the fictional Middle Ages of our time? How in the era of Game of Thrones do fictional works affect public appreciation of the Middle Ages?
