Ed grads mixing travel and adventure with work

Seizing a distinct opportunity, many graduates from the Schulich School of Education are taking their Bachelor of Education overseas and mixing international travel with a teaching job, and they are in high demand.NU News spoke to a few students and international recruiters at the recent Education Fair held on campus.
 
This year’s fair welcomed 44 separate groups looking to attract Nipissing grads, with 21 representing international organizations recruiting for Asia, Australia and the United Kingdom.
Last year, more than 70 students secured employment directly from the Education Fair, with many choosing to teach overseas.
