Charity yard sale for Fort McMurray

Nipissing University is pitching in on a charity yard sale to aid those affected by the fires in Fort McMurray, Alberta, so gather up any goods you can part with and donate them to a great cause.
The sale, organized by OPSEU, takes place on Saturday, May 14, from 8 a.m. – noon at 573 Fraser Street, North Bay (beside the LCBO).

That guitar you played twice, the one in the attic next to the tennis racket, roller blades and grandma’s old dishes?  It’s time to part with the lot of it, you’ll feel good, and have more room in your attic for new toys and collectibles.

Donated items can be dropped off at Nipissing’s Facilities Office (B215), from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. until this Friday (May 13); or to 573 Fraser Street, North Bay (beside the LCBO).

All proceeds from the sale will be donated to the Canadian Red Cross in support of Fort McMurray.
