History seminar looks at Ontario’s Education system

A key time in the history of Ontario’s education system are in the crosshairs for an upcoming History Seminar Series.; Dr. Kurt Clausen, associate professor in the Schulich School of Education will present Rebels in Charge: Ontario's Educational Revolution, 1959–1973, on Friday, March 4, at 2:30 p.m. in Room A252.This talk addresses a period of significant change in the Ontario public school system, when seemingly all aspects of education were subjects for reform. Dr. Clausen will consider the motivations of those who advocated change in education, the changes that actually happened, and reactions.
