iLead Jamaica Expedition hits the ground running
The 11 students and two faculty members working on the 2016 iLead Jamaica Expedition have landed in Jamaica and are looking forward to their first meetings with Fern Forest Eco Village in the centre of the Great Fern Forest, in Ocho Rios, Jamaica.
You can follow along with the students on Twitter: @ileadjamaica, and on their blog, here which will be updated daily. The group returns on Sunday, February 21, 2016.
Students will have the opportunity to learn about business in a developing country while applying their skills, knowledge and talents to solve real management issues. This year’s projects are focused on working with the ecotourism partner, Fern Forest Eco Village, to develop special tourist packages and health promotion for summer camps for children in Jamaica while maintaining a focus on sustainability for people, planet and profit.
