Join NU’s Big Bike team to support Heart and Stroke Foundation
Hey Nipissing, it’s time to get on the bike and ride! Nipissing’s Office of Student Development and Services is participating in this year’s Big Bike Ride in support of the Heart & Stroke Foundation and they want you to join the team.
The Big Bike Ride will give you the chance to ride a bicycle built for 30 to help heart disease and stroke survivors go home to the people they love. Now that’s something to get excited about.
The ride is scheduled for Friday, May 27 at 2p.m. and it is a 2 km ride (approx. 30 minutes) starting from the Discovery North Bay Museum.
Registration is free but riders are asked to fundraise $50 to help give back to people who are touched by heart disease and stroke.
Currently, Nipissing’s team has just a few spots left on the Big Bike, so act fast if you want to get in on that action and make a difference.

Last year, Nipissing’s team raised an impressive $4,858 last year putting them in 3rd place for funds collected for that ride day. This year, they’ve set their goal at $1,500; let’s all help them shatter that and support life-saving research.
