Here’s an abstract:Hypothesis testing and its significance in popular statistical data analysis will be discussed and scrutinized from the statistical perspective as well as from the practical/application perspective. The statistical significance of t-test, F-test, Pearson’s product-moment correlation coefficient, regression and the Chi-Square test used in testing the goodness-of-fit of a model will be discussed and evaluated.
