Student wins outstanding poster award
Congratulations to Master of Environmental Sciences (MESc) student Megan Prescott on winning the Jody Conner Student Award for outstanding student poster at the 2015 International Symposium of the North American Lake Management Society.
Prescott’s poster, Exploring Thermal Stratification and Mixing of Lake Nipissing Embayments: An Analysis of High Frequency Buoy Data, is currently on display on the second floor of Nipissing’s Research Wing.
After recently completing her degree in the MESc program, Prescott is now working as the Hydrologic Technician in Nipissing University’s Integrative Watershed Research Centre (iwrc.nipissingu.ca).
