Students in jerseys give to food bank
Students in the Bachelor of Physical and Health Education program recently got the chance to help stock the shelves of the student food bank, while simultaneously strutting the colours of their favourite sports team by donning a jersey for the day.
Nipissing University Physical and Health Education Students (NUPHES) were encouraged to wear their favourite sports jerseys to class on January 28. They were also asked to bring in some canned food for the food bank. The response was impressive, with more than 50 students donning their favoured jersey and donating more than 150 food items to the food bank.
