Everyone wins in Paul Nelson memorial game
Wisdom and experience ruled supreme over youth and exuberance on the ice at last week’s fifth annual Paul Nelson Memorial Hockey Game.
The heroes from the faculty and staff team earned a hard fought 10-1 victory over the fourth-year Bachelor of Physical and Health Education students at Memorial Gardens.
While the score may look a bit lopsided, it was apparent that everyone went home a winner. The game raised more than $650 dollars for the Paul Nelson Memorial Scholarship, as well as more than 70 food items for the Nipissing University Food Bank.
Here’s the roster for the winning Faculty/Staff team, so you can congratulate them when you see them in hall, and/or buy them a coffee (no autographs please).
