National award for NU student and NUSU VP
Congratulations to student J'aime Brunet on earning the Shiner of the Month award for July from the Shinerama National Leadership Team and the National Events staff at Cystic Fibrosis Canada.Brunet is going into her third year of studies in Concurrent Education with an Honours double major in Psychology and English, and a minor in French. She also serves as vice-president, services on the Nipissing University Student Union.
The Shiner of the Month program recognizes one Shinerama leader from across the country each month that has gone above and beyond in their Shinerama role. The award is nominated and selected by the volunteer Shinerama National Leadership Team and the National Events staff at Cystic Fibrosis Canada.
"J'aime has demonstrated unrivalled passion for Shinerama after being a very active participant at the Shinerama National Conference in May. We are lucky to have leaders like J'aime advocating for the Cystic Fibrosis cause on campus and we are thankful for all of her hard work," Cystic Fibrosis Canada stated.
