With Nipissing continuing the countdown to its 25th anniversary celebration, NU News is taking you back through the years to 1992, with a beautiful printed Student Guide to help you remember what life was like back then.

Nipissing was billing itself as The New U and apparently shorts and knit sweaters were the look du jour for cyclists.  There are sure to be a few familiar faces, as well as some super modern computers, lots of big hair and some horses.

It’s amazing to see how the university has grown into such a vibrant and complex institution.  By contrast, the 1992 Student Guide features 24 pages (including the covers), while the 2016-17 Student Guide contains 64 pages and the back cover is a fold-out, with the extra space utilized for a three-page spread on the Admissions Chart.
