Art students hosting Makers Market tonight

A group of Fine Arts students from Nipissing, known as the North Bay Art Student Collective, are hosting the Maker’s Market, a gallery exhibition and market, at the North Star Diner (348 Algonquin Ave in North Bay) on March 7 from 5 – 8:30 p.m.
The 30 students will be displaying their own work, and giving the public an opportunity to purchase student-created wares.

All proceeds raised by art sales will go to the artists.

There is no entry cost and refreshments will be provided.  Students will also be offering specialty drinks costing $2 or $5, and grilled cheese sandwiches for $5.

Canvas tote bags will also be available to purchase by donation, to support the North Bay Art Student Collective.
