Key info on Rotary Foundation Peace Fellowship

The Rotary Foundation Peace Fellowship 2019-2021 offers 60 individuals committed to peace and conflict resolution the opportunity to earn a two-year master’s level degree in international studies, peace studies and conflict resolution at one of the Rotary Centre's University partners located in the United States, Japan, England, Australia or Sweden.Rotary has contracted with five institutions worldwide to provide this valuable training. In order for a candidate to be a qualified applicant, the candidate must have the endorsement of our district. (The Rotary Foundation must receive the final application, endorsed by District 7010, by July 1, 2018.)

The Peace Fellowship is a highly sought after award. An exemplary application should shine a light on the candidates experience, aspirations and support for the ideals of Rotary and the pursuit of peace and global understanding.
The Rotary Foundation requires candidates to complete the on-line application no later than May 31, 2017. Given that the application must be endorsed by District 7010, applicants are asked to submit your online application by May 23, 2018. This will allow District Peace Fellowship Chair Colin Vickers the opportunity to review the application and make suggestions for improvement. Applicants should save the date June 2, 2018, as an interview may be required. Normally this interview is held in North Bay, Ontario. These steps will ensure endorsement and submission by July 1, 2018. District 7010 can endorse multiple candidates.
