Lakers lacrosse offers free clinic and alumni game

For anyone looking to give the great sport of lacrosse, Canada’s National summer sport, a try, the Lakers men’s lacrosse team has you covered. They are offering a free clinic and alumni game on Saturday, August 25 on Nipissing’s new turf field.

The clinic runs from 4:30 – 5:30 p.m. and is open to all ages and skill sets.  No registration is necessary and the only equipment participants will need is athletic attire and running shoes.  The Lakers men’s lacrosse team will provide expert instruction on lacrosse basics to help participants learn to pass, catch, and shoot like a lacrosse pro.

Following the clinic, at 6 p.m., the current roster will play the Lakers of yesteryear in the first ever Lakers Lacrosse Alumni Game.
