Near North Voices welcomes Hamilton’s KANTO Vocal Ensemble

Near North Voices – North Bay’s University-Community Choir, welcomes Hamilton’s hottest new vocal ensemble, Kanto, for a collaborative concert, Sharing Our Choral Art VI, on Saturday, April 7, at 7:30 p.m. at St. Andrew’s United Church in North Bay. This member-led, primarily a cappella vocal ensemble features nine singers from the greater Hamilton area. Their repertoire includes pop, jazz and contemporary music along with choral art music. Near North Voices and Kanto will each sing a portion of the concert, and will unite for a choral grand finale.

This concert is the sixth in the Sharing Our Choral Art concert series of collaborative concerts with invited guest ensembles, designed to bring a world of choral music to North Bay. Since 2011, this series has welcomed choirs from across Ontario, the USA and the Czech Republic.

Tickets are $20 for adults, $10 for post-secondary students, and are available at Gulliver’s on Main St. and at the door.
