NU introducing International English Summer Camps

Nipissing University is pleased to announce a new initiative, the International English Summer Camps, which will attract students from all over the world to study at the Nipissing campus in North Bay.
Held in July and August the three-week camps are designed for international students ages 16-22 looking to advance their English language skills while experiencing an overseas summer vacation.

The first camp will be held July 1 -21, the second camp will be held July 22- August 11.

Nipissing is a recognized leader in delivering one of the finest postsecondary student experiences in Canada. The English Camps will continue Nipissing’s commitment to student experience, offering an exciting mix of classroom instruction and outdoor activities providing opportunities for leadership and personal development.  Students will be immersed in a unique learning environment that focuses on group activities and conversation circles rather than assignments and tests.

Camps will be led by English language speakers and trained instructional staff. No prior English language skills are required.

On-campus activities during the week are followed by weekend excursions and trips to Niagara Falls, Toronto, Algonquin Park and Quebec.
