The annual juried art exhibition presented by Nipissing’s department of Fine and Performing Arts opens Thursday, March 16, at White Water Gallery (122 Main Street West), from 6:30 – 9 p.m.

Laura Peturson, associate professor in the Department of Fine Arts, is exhibiting at Toronto’s Gladstone Hotel as part of the Toronto Design Offsite Festival, Canada’s largest cultural celebration of design.

The exhibition titled Assemble: Five years of contemporary Canadian drawing, 2011-2016, is a look back at the work Burk has been doing with Line Gallery over the past five years.

Geoff Mayne, local artist and recent Nipissing University graduate, presents his first solo art exhibition at the Westlake Gallery, opening March 18, at 7 p.m. as part of North Bay’s Downtown Gallery Hop.

Congratulations to Amanda Burk, associate professor of Fine Arts, who recently had her work, Hushed Renewal, accepted into the 35th Bradley International Print and Drawing Exhibition in Illinois. Burk’s work has also been chosen for publication inPocketful Illustration Magazine.
