Nipissing University is proud to welcome artist Jules Koostachin to campus for an exhibition titled Alive with Breath on January 30, from 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. in the Treaty Learning Centre in the Harris learning Library.

Nipissing University’s Office of Aboriginal Initiatives is proud to present the Canadian launch of Dr. José Barreiro’s new book, Taino, on Wednesday, October 24 at 3:30 p.m. in the Treaty Learning Centre of the Harris Learning Library.

Nipissing University is hosting a benefit concert featuring Aboriginal musicians Derek Miller and Digging Roots, as well as local artists Holly Cunningham and Eric Traleven, to raise funds to support the housing crisis in Attawapiskat and raise awareness and understanding of challenges faced by First Nations communities in Canada.
